Perfect OEM seal
Exact OEM pump seal for Jandy pump. Worked perfectly as expected

May or may not be the right size (despite being part # in manual)
The quality of this seal is very good. As another review mentioned, you have to pay very close attention to which seal your pump uses. Even the manual that comes with your pump may have the wrong part number. There is a version of this seal with a smaller inner diameter ceramic seal which is what is used on newer versions of pumps. Verify before installing!

For Jandy MaxHP and "MHP-" models
The Jandy website lists a different seal for my model pump, but when the package came, my model number wasn't listed and the seal was too small for the shaft. This seal isn't listed on the website, but has my model number on the package. This is the seal you need for a Jandy MaxHP or Model MHPM. it should work for any model with the first three characters of MHP.

Name brand is important here
I’ve tried 4 different knock off kits and these specific pieces in those kits all leaked over time. First one that’s solid.

CAUTION... DOESN'T FIT NEWER MODEL PUMPS. ...
CAUTION...DOESN'T FIT NEWER MODEL PUMPS.....I'm giving it 4 stars because it appears to be a decent product, but I actually didn't use it. NEWER Polaris pump modules do not use the spring loaded piece that you in the pic (i.e. the piece that fits on the impeller). However, the smaller ceramic piece does work on both old and new models. Kudos to the seller for clearly stating that it does not fit the newer pumps and shame on me for not reading what the seller stated. MEA CULPA.

Doesn't fit Polaris PB4-60
I have the original documents from my Polaris Booster Pump PB4-60 that shows part number R0445500 is the correct replacement kit. But this kit does not fit. I read later in another review that the Polaris/Zodiac company being sold resulted in mishaps (or just poor decisions) in keeping the part numbers and sizes aligned. I hope that this may help others avoid frustration, here are the measurements I took of the Ceramic ring using a dial caliper comparing my existing part vs what I got in this kit: Inner diameter - 17mm vs 20mm (This is approximately 5/8" vs 13/16") Outer diameter - 32mm vs 35 mm It seems the company could do themselves a favor by publishing this basic information.
