In fact with Edge you can setup password-less logon to outlook.com. with chrome and Firefox you can just use it as a second factor after the username and password. **Q: Does this have any kind of backup in case you lose it like some software based 2FA does? Or is it game over if it goes wandering?** A: You use this device as a 2 factor authorization which works with 3rd party software which you purchase separately .It has no software itself. It simply contains a chip which generates a Code which your software recognizes and as it needs to be Physically pressed by a human being it is not possible for hackers to program software to activate it. If you lose it you simply deactivate your device in you software of choice. For example you could use it with a password manager software which you purchase separately. To login into a software you use a password , that is the 1st factor of Authorization, then you insert your Key and press the button , that is the second factor.So if someone gets hold of your password they still can't login in without your stick. It's almost Bullet proof if you ask me. If you lose your Yubikey and wished to deactivate the Yubikey you would do so via a mobile phone which you used to setup your software in the first place. For example you would receive an SMS or Email depending on the Software producer. **Q: Are these keys available to buy in England, they all seem to come from the US or EU with very long delivery times in many cases and no warranty.** A: I bought my first two keys from Yubico UK through Amazon last year but don’t know why they don’t appear here anymore. I bought my third key on Amazon which I think was through Amazon EU. It didn’t take that long to arrive, maybe a week or less. Quality feels strong and robust and there are plenty of covers available ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works okay, NFC feature hit-and-miss. *by R***L on 4 January 2022* Works great for USB. I use it for Windows logon and for Yubico Authenticator app for sites that have OTP codes. It's also supported by Lastpass and Google. Of course, you'll probably want to get two of these as a backup in case you lose one. I have one permanently at home and the other on my keyring for mobile/laptop use when out and about. The one slight drawback as by design, many sites that support 2FA, only allow you to register one code. Ideally, you would register separately for each Yubikey, rather than having to set up the same on both Yubikeys at the same time, this way, if a Yubikey is lost, you can revoke the 2FA only for the lost key. One small drawback is you'll need both Yubikeys to hand every time you set up or remove a 2FA, to update both, as may sites/apps don't let you see the QR code again once it's been set up. This is perhaps offset by the useful ability to plug the Yubikey into any device, securely use your 2FA/auth, and then unplug it, rather than having to set it all up again for every device. It takes a bit of time to set up and get used to, but you'll be in a much more secure once it's done. The NFC feature never worked on my Huawei/Honor Play phone, despite all sorts of fiddling around with the NFC settings, so I had to use an adapter to USBC to use the YubiKey with this phone, but I just upgraded to a Google Pixel 6 and it works pretty well once you get the technique of how to hold it behind the phone.
