Not scary *by B***T on November 3, 2025* Don't be fooled by the other reviews where people are freaking about the scariness level. After reading some of these reviews I was concerned that I'd permanently scar my kids by reading them this book, but I remembered it fondly from my childhood so I took a chance and ordered the book anyway. From the very first read, my 5 year old and 3 year old sons have LOVED this book! It's one of our new daily driver bedtime books. The wolf eating the pigs is not depicted in the pictures, it just says "and he ate the second little pig", which is sort of what you'd expect a wolf to do, and it didn't bother my kids at all.
