Dancook 1501 - Kettle Barbecue Grill & Kitchen with Wooden Bottom Shelf.

Have had this for 9 years now. Look forward to the bbq season every year with this bad boy. Always complemented by new guests and has been a talking point of our nights. Cooks great and has kept looking great over the years. Just a normal clean needed before each use. Good size to cook range of foods on. Five stars

I have had mine for several years and it still looks good. Yes the round tops on each upright pop off, I stuck mine on. It cleans up easily and cooks well. Just take care when washing it, as the edges on the stainless steel top and bottom trays are sharp, wear thick rubber gloves, this is the reason it drops one star. I have no problem with the build quality, it is quite robust, whilst the wheels are not large, they haven’t fallen off, but to be fair it doesn’t get moved far. I would definately buy another when the time comes to replace it. Buy the charcoal divider so that you can partition off an area without charcoal, so that there is no direct heat, this makes it easier to control the rate of cooking and not burn the food.

I have had one of these for about two and a half years. It is well designed but the frame is poorly made. The wheels are flimsy and have fallen off, the frame wobbles alarmingly and the caps have come off all the uprights. The kettle itself works well and is solid. The grill is too big to fit in the dishwasher, which makes for a lot of scrubbing. I would not recommend this product for more than a single season's use.

I have had a Dancook 1500 for ten years or so, regularly used and I have found it virtually faultless. The only minor irritation is the caps falling off the uprights, so what, they could be glued in position, also the Dancook rain cover has not been great, I am on my second one and it lets rain in on the seams. The stainless steel construction is very robust and I have had no problem with it being wobbly, though the wheels appear a little flimsy they actually have not proved a problem. After all these years and despite the rain, it cleans easily and looks pretty well like new. Without doubt I would recomend the BBQ which incidentally cooks beautifully, just stick a whole chicken wrapped in foil onto the BBQ, shut the lid, come back an hour later and it is done and not burnt.

Super Teil. Sehr schwer (sollte man bedenken, wenn man ihn öfter verschieben will). Die Werkzeughalter von Rösle (gummiert mit Haken) passen auch dran. Es gibt leider keinen Deckelhalter, kann man aber auch bequem auf die untere Ablage legen. Bis jetzt der wertigste Kugelgrill den ich hatte.

oggetto di ottima fattura, facile da montare, funzionale, facile da pulire. 4 stelle perché mi è arrivato in un grosso cartone con tutti gli elementi sciolti e non imballati all'interno. le gambe hanno graffi ma l'ho tenuto il cartone era rotto in più punti perché le gambe lo avevano perforato da comprare sicuramente ma accertarsi che l'imballo sia adeguato

Der Grill wird in einem kompletten Küchen-Wagen geliefert, mit einer Granitplatte als Arbeitsplatte und einem Holzrost unten als Ablage. Er erinnert mehr an professionelle Gastronomie, als an einen Gartengrill. Er spielt in der hochwertigen Weber-Klasse, ist aber auch noch optisch gelungen. Die Ablagen sind sehr angenehm. Man hat alles an einer Stelle und muss sich nicht noch mit Zusatztischchen etc. herumschlagen. Das Gewicht des gesamten Teils ist nicht ohne. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist dazu noch die Abdeckhaube (130138). Alles ist sehr stabil und aus nichtrostendem Alu bzw. Edelstahl. Der Grill entspricht dem 1400, 1800 oder 1900. Daher auch die Rezensionen beim 1400, 1800, 1900 anschauen! Alles Edelstahl und sehr hochwertig. Auch der Rost ist aus sehr massivem Edelstahl. An dem Gerät klappert und wackelt nichts. Der ganze Grill sieht aus, als wollte er mindestens 20 Jahre halten. Der Deckel schließt völlig dicht. Er ist deshalb vor allem zum indirekten Grillen geeignet. Leider ist der Deckel nicht sehr hoch, und es gibt keine Deckelerhöhungen. Das ist ein echtes Manko, weil z.B. ein Bierdosen-Hähnchen nicht hineinpasst. Erstaunlich ist der geringe Brennstoffverbrauch beim indirekten Grillen. Der Deckel schließt so dicht, das man die Glut schnell erstickt, wenn man den Lüftungsschieber zu weit schließt. Häufige Fragen sind, weshalb der untere Lüftungsschieber fehlt: Beim indirekten Grillen benötigt man ihn wirklich nicht, da wird alles am oberen Lüftungsschieber eingestellt. Ein Höllenfeuer bekommt man aber wegen der indirekten Belüftung wohl eher nicht hin. Braucht man aber eigentlich auch nicht... Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist dazu ein Anzündkamin, es muss nicht der von Dancook sein. Wobei der eben auch deutlich länger als eine Saison hält. Sinnvoll fand ich ebenso den Rostheber (120016). Man erschrickt ersteinmal über den Preis, aber auch der ist sehr massiv, sonst könnte man das schwere Rost auch gar nicht herausheben. Es gibt auch noch eine flache Schale zum Einweichen und Reinigen des Rostes, die ist aber nicht von Dancook und ich habe sie auch nicht bei Amazon gefunden. In meinen Augen ein sehr gelungenes Produkt, wegen dem zu niedrigen Deckel, bzw. der fehlenden Deckelerhöhung nur 4 Punkte.

Produkt klasse!!! Allesrdings wurden die Einzelteile auch bei der Ersatzlieferung so ungenügend verpackt, das die Teile total zerdellert und zerkratzt ankamen-Schade!!!
