## Description

Product Description Subnautica is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean planet. A massive, open world full of wonder and peril awaits you!Dive Into a Vast Underwater WorldYou have crash-landed on an alien ocean world, and the only way to go is down. Subnautica's oceans range from sun-drenched shallow coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea trenches, lava fields, and bio-luminescent underwater rivers. Manage your oxygen supply as you explore kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The water teems with life: Some of it helpful, much of it harmful.Scavenge, Craft, and SurviveAfter crash landing in your Life Pod, the clock is ticking to find water, food, and to develop the equipment you need to explore. Collect resources from the ocean around you. Craft knives, lights, diving gear, and personal water craft. Venture deeper and further form to find rarer resources, allowing you to craft more advanced items.Construct Underwater HabitatsBuild bases on the sea floor. Choose layouts and components, and manage hull-integrity as depth and pressure increase. Use your base to store resources, park vehicles, and replenish oxygen supplies as you explore the vast ocean.Unravel the MysteryWhat happened to this planet? Signs abound that something is not right. What caused you to crash? What is infecting the sea life? Who built the mysterious structures scattered around the ocean? Can you find a way to make it off the planet alive?Disrupt the Food ChainThe ocean teems with life: Use the ecosystem to help you. Lure and distract a threatening creature with a fresh fish, or simply swim as fast as you can to avoid gnashing jaws of roaming predators.Handle the PressureBuild a Pressure Re-Active Waterproof Nanosuit, or PRAWN Suit, and explore extreme depth and heat. Modify the suit with mining drills, torpedo launchers, propulsion cannons, grappling hooks and more.Fear the NightAs the sun goes down, the predators come out. The ocean is unforgiving of those caught unprepared in the darkness. Areas that are safe to explore during the day become treacherous at night, but also reveal a beauty that those who hide from the darkness will never see.Dive Below the Ocean FloorCave systems wind below the sea bed, from dark claustrophobic passages to caverns lit by bio-luminescent life and burning-hot lava flows. Explore the world below the ocean floor, but watch your oxygen levels, and take care to avoid the threats lurking in the darkness. Box Contains BluRay Disc

Review: Good Game - Grandson really liked it, a good buy.
Review: Frickin' Brilliant! (GOTY) - Ignore people writing reviews saying the game doesn't save or that it crashes. These are incorrect; the game saves fine and I haven't had it crash once. It does freeze/stutter (at times) when I surface for air, but I've had no other performance issues following the very quick post-launch patch. Subnautica is brilliant, a beautiful, immersive, underwater survival sim that does away with the handholding of most modern games. I looked up a couple of YouTube starter videos to get a hang of crafting the basic tools and survival equipment and would highly recommend Jade Plays Games. The game does direct players through radio messages, so keep checking the Habitat Pod for new messages. This will probably be my Game of the Year for 2018. Subnautica can be relaxing, tense, surprising, unforgiving, wondrous and highly rewarding. It's a game like no other with diverse biomes, alien creatures, open ocean, deep sea caves, kelp forests, grassy plains, thermal vents and loads of discoveries. Once you get a grip of crafting food/water, your most important tool is the scanner. Learn to scan everything possible and the player quickly comes across new survival blueprints. I'm between 6-7 hours into the game and about to build my first base (or attempt at one). I still feel, however, as though I've only just scratched the surface of what it has to offer. I've also witnessed two in game events which will stick in my mind for days (maybe even weeks) to come. The story, despite being told indirectly without cutscenes, has quality voice acting and has genuinely held my interest. If you love quality/survival games and don't mind the lack of tutorials, I can't recommend Subnautica enough.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there sharks 🦈 my son wants a shark game and I can’t find one 😂**
A: There is a shark game coming out called maneater near the end of may cant wait!

**Q: have the game hungarian language?**
A: Yes in subtitles

**Q: Is this game vr compatible**
A: not yet

**Q: Does this game run at 60fps on the PS4?**
A: Its almost pointless asking technical questions like this on amazon. I can tell you that the framerate of this game will vary greatly depending on what your doing. When the framerate is low it hardly ever stays that way for long (when playing on PS Pro. In my experience) Whether the framerate actually gets as high as 60fps. I don't know. I would have to search for the answer online. The truth is the game runs at a playable framerate most of the time on the PS4 Pro but definitely drops well below 60fps at some points. Its still very playable and fun though.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonably sedate survival game.
*by M***L on 4 February 2019*

This is my kind of game. Its quite sedate and relaxing. Apparently you can complete it in 20 hours. According to the game I've been playing for about that long with no end in sight. The game is basically a crafting game where you collect resources and build tools to collect better materials to make better tools. :) But it's a lot better than it sounds. Its not a violent game, You have to eat fish to survive but stabbing the bigger fish with your tiny knife is pointless. To me the fact that the game is basically a pacifist game is neither a good thing or a bad game. The only downsides to this game are the fact that it can crash. Until you connect to the internet and patch the game. You have to be carefull to not switch your PS4 off while the game is still saving. Because it takes forever for the game to save. Along with the random crashing you can end up losing progress. (The patches generally fix these problems) Also it suffers from the same problems as all other crafting survival games. Deaths over hunger/thirst. Not knowing how to find the raw resources needed to progress and the constant temptation to look on a wiki page for what to do next. When I first played this game I was swimming around in circles dying of thirst over and over again until I looked up how to find salt. :) Now I have a big underwater base with lots of equipment inside it that makes surviving easy and I really enjoyed playing this game and will keep returning to it to discover new areas and monsters and upgrade my base more.
