I would guess to say 1/4 inch or less. It has some cushion to it but it isn’t too thick. It doesn’t have any gel just a sturdy padding. I definitely plan to purchase more of these mouse pads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made with the exception of the foam on the bottom *by C***. on March 24, 2024* Like the design and ease of inserting photo but the foam backing won't keep the pad in place while using it. When you push the mouse forward and the back of your hand drags across it the pad moves too. In a few minutes it is inches forward and needs to be pulled back to the edge of your desk where it started.
