**Q: If i get this do i need an amp and dac for headphones to listen to music or this will be enough to drive headphones that need power?**

**Q: Does the usb port work to hook up to a midi keyboard? i know the focusrite itrack dock isn't compatible with akai mpk mini ii. will this one work?**
A: You can't connect a USB Midi device to a USB Audio device with USB - they both need to connect to some kind of 'HOST' device - a computer.  Some Audio interfaces (not this one) also include a Midi interface; but in those cases you'll be connecting the Midi controller with standard 5-pin midi cables.
