So in researching an alternative for Android I discovered these. I bought a couple and slipped them in my gun cases for some upcoming flights. For some opinions it's worth noting my phone is a Pixel 7 Pro. Downloading the Moto app didn't seem to be fully required unless I wanted to do the firmware update. Accuracy was decent, but seemed slow to update. I would sometimes wait 15-30 minutes before a location update. But when it was updating I had zero issues with knowing the general location of my luggage and sometimes kneww my luggage was loaded onto the plane before the airlines app showed. The local "find hub" thing to point you to where your tag is isn't that great as it just slowly fills or empties a circle based on your proximity. I've seen screenshots of other phones having arrows and actual estimated distance but with mine there was not. Review: it worked But the wife won't lock her phone for it to work - I tried to put this on my wife's phone android. but she doesn't lock her phone (nothing on it) so I couldn't use the tracker and I couldn't use it on mine for I have a iPhone which won't work with it.I bought it for hers. Oh well ## Features - Easy to set up and locate on any Android phone: Just attach moto tag to your belongings, and use your Android phone to locate anything with pinpoint precision, anywhere in the world.* - Unwanted tracking protections: Get peace of mind knowing all tracking is private and your tag is protected by end-to-end encryption on Google’s trusted network. - Bluetooth and UWB precision*: Use Google’s Find My Device app to quickly locate nearby belongings, including precise, step-by-step guidance using a UWB-enabled phone. - Fits popular accessories: Enjoy a sleek, stylish tracking device that works seamlessly with your belongings and a ton of popular third-party accessories. - One-year battery life: Easily replace the one-year battery** when the time comes. - Underwater protection: Enjoy peace of mind knowing your tag will work even if it accidentally gets wet.*** ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DB2PK2YQ | | Additional Features | Real Time Tracking | | Battery Average Life | 1 years | | Best Sellers Rank | #20,324 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #231 in Item Finders | | Brand | Motorola | | Built-In Media | Battery | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 223 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Included Components | Battery | | Item Dimensions | 1.26 x 1.26 x 0.31 inches | | Item Weight | 7.5 g | | Manufacturer | Motorola | | Material | Plastic | | Mfr Part Number | XT2445-1 | | Model Number | XT2445-1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Special Feature | Real Time Tracking | | Supported Application | Find My Phone | | UPC | 840023272387 | | Warranty Description | 1 year manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Motorola - **Connectivity Technology:** Bluetooth - **Material:** Plastic - **Special Feature:** Real Time Tracking - **Supported Application:** Find My Phone ## Images ![Motorola Moto tag (1-Pack) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81EgHOVPqaL.jpg) ![Motorola Moto tag (1-Pack) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/817sz+wHi2L.jpg) ![Motorola Moto tag (1-Pack) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617wTKEc6IL.jpg) ![Motorola Moto tag (1-Pack) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61dn1dlcrrL.jpg) ![Motorola Moto tag (1-Pack) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81CVZoHJfnL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Number Of Items** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent tracker for Android *by J***. on September 23, 2025* I have personally not used airtags and don't have the equipment required to use them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it worked But the wife won't lock her phone for it to work *by S***3 on August 4, 2026* I tried to put this on my wife's phone android. but she doesn't lock her phone (nothing on it) so I couldn't use the tracker and I couldn't use it on mine for I have a iPhone which won't work with it.I bought it for hers. Oh well ### ⭐ lasted one year *by R***K on September 10, 2026* I bought two of the Moto 1 trackers approximately one year ago. Batteries lasted approximately one year. During that year, they worked fine. After I replaced the batteries, I could only get one to reconnect to my phone. After spending approximately one hour trying to re-connect the device, I called Motorola support. I spent another hour with support. Level one support was no help. Level two support was more helpful. They at least told me that there was nothing more they could do. They also said that if I sent the device back to them, they would send a replacement. I bought this device when it first came out because it was the only uwb tracking device that would work on an Android phone. I am not willing to spend any more time on this device. I have since read that Google is coming out with its own uwb tracking device. I have many Google devices. They too have had their share of issues, but Google's tech support has never failed me. ## Frequently Bought Together - Moto tag (1-Pack) - Apple AirTag - MOLOSLEEVE for Airtag Holder Case with Keychain, Shockproof GPS Cover Anti-Scratch Key Chain for Air Tags, for Airtag Accessories for GPS Item Tracker Cases for Bags, Luggages, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/798162037-motorola-moto-tag-1-pack](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/798162037-motorola-moto-tag-1-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
