Review: Really renewed and cleaned some old items ! - Used on an old pair of boots, a good pair of dress shoes, and a 60 + year old belt. Cleaned and conditioned the boots really well, cleaned old polish and etc. off the dress shoes, and cleaned and replenished the belt. I was actually most impressed by the belt, which had dried out, had small cracks, and had lost a good part of its black finish. Then, tbh, I used Safir conditioner, polish, and wax, etc. But the biggest improvement came at first with the saddle soap. Very pleased with the effects! Also, don’t forget to wipe the suds away with a clean cloth. It wiped up easy. And with another cloth, buffed to a light shine. I wish I had this years ago to use with several old pairs of shoes that I used to have. I’ll probably buy it again at sometime when I run out.

**Q: Would it be better to use the white or yellow saddle soap on tan colored work boots?**
A: As someone who will dive into brands as Nicks,Whites and red wings for work or casual wear. The soap (ive bought the black one since i have mostly black boots) should do fine if done right. But id say this, the human mind is not prepped for dark soap. So if you want to play safe, Go white or Yellow for brown or lighter colors. Black for the darker But this should depend on overall experience.

**Q: Those of you that ordered the white soap from third pary sellers, did you actually recieve whit?  Some pictures look like the black soap.**
A: I ordered from Mr. Shoe Care what I thought was "WHITE".  I received a "YELLOW" can and the soap in side was "YELLOW".  When I complained Mr. Shoe Care said that all of the soap was "YELLOW" regardless of can color.  Either they do NOT know their product or I am very confused.  I thought the soap in the "WHITE" can was "WHITE".  I would NOT recommend buying from Mr. Shoe Care.

**Q: Will this cleaner rid my leather sofa of doggie smell**
A: I don't think it will rid it of dog smell. The soap doesn't have a strong smell to combat that odor.  But it will clean your leather sofa nicely.

**Q: I was given a worn leather couch. It has worn spots that need to be repaired. Can i use this before the repairs and re dye spots or after?**
A: I’d do the repairs first.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have natural "rough out" or light colored Ariat boots that needed cleaning. I didn't want them to turn any darker or "yellow" them, which standard saddle soap can sometimes do. This white saddle soap worked perfectly and I will certainly buy again.
