It’s such a great feeling to have your fridge or freezer full of ready to cook or cooked meals! I’ve been browsing through Rapid Dinners this morning and I think it’s absolutely her best book yet. Plenty of new recipes and so clearly laid out. Even if you never cooked a single recipe from this book, the meal planning tips, cooking times for different appliances and the spaces to write in your own meal plans make this book worth having. I also love that she has added in recipes to batch your own spices eg. curry powder, fajita seasoning etc. Also, all the lower cost recipe are listed, calorie count for each meal, photographs for every dish and loads of other useful information. This is a grab and cook book which means you prep the meals in advance and pop them in the freezer to be eaten at a later date which of course is brilliant but you can also cook them on the day you want to eat them and I have say many of them look absolutely delicious! The Batch Lady has a qualification in time management which really shines through in this book. Absolutely brilliant book for any young person who relies heavily on ready meals or takeout. They could save a fortune and also eat delicious and healthy meals that suit their tastes and dietary preferences. Contains ingriedents you actually would have in the house and has some really tasty recipes. There is a great range of recipes which can involve meat or be vegetarian or even vegan!!
