Made of durable industrial-grade plastic, KeepBoxes have full-length steel hinge pins for smooth lid operation. They stack when lids are closed and nest when lids are open. The textured bottom provides a no-slip grip. The KeepBox is a versatile home storage and medium-duty attached lid container. Review: Very sturdy! - This is the Cadillac of keep boxes and is a high quality product. Quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. They hold up much better than the Sterlite brand, but since they are over 3 times the price, they should be longlasting! Review: BEST STORAGE CONTAINERS SO FAR - I have used bins of several varieties and this, though not the least cost, are the best performing. Although both of the six bin orders have had a problem, one with a missing hinge pin (which I corrected) and the second order had a cracked bin (caused by a packaging or handling issue), Akro Mills did send me two replacement bins and I am about to order six more of the clear ones. These are helping me organize my endless varieties of parts, salvage and virtual junk. ## Features - Inside Height: 12" Inside Length Bottom: 17-7/8" Inside Length Top: 19-3/4" Inside Width Bottom: 12-3/4" Inside Width Top: 14-1/2" Outside Height: 12-1/2" Outside Length: 21-1/2" Outside Width: 15" - Attached Lid Containers (ALCs) are reusable storage containers ideal for use in order picking closed-loop distribution and storage applications - Clear Blue - Brand: Akro-Mils - Material: Plastic - Opening mechanism: Hinge - Item shape: Rectangular - Pattern: Solid - Opening mechanism: hinge, snap - Brand: Keepbox. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01N33686M | | Brand | Akro-Mils | | Brand Name | Akro-Mils | | Capacity | 12 gallons | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 97 Reviews | | Item Weight | 4.35 Pounds | | Item weight | 4.35 Pounds | | Manufacturer Part Number | 66486CLDBL | | Opening Mechanism | Hinge | | Opening mechanism | Hinge | | Package Quantity | 6 | | STORAGE VOLUME | 12 gallons | | Storage Volume | 12 gallons | | UPC | 766544480028 732943724698 | | Unit Count | 6 Count | | Unit count | 6 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Akro-Mils - **Capacity:** 12 Gallons - **Item weight:** 4.35 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Style:** Rectangular Plastic Storage Box with Hinged Lid and Semi-Clear Surface ## Images ![Akro-Mils 66486 CLDBL 12-Gallon Plastic Storage KeepBox with Attached Lid, 21-1/2-Inch by 15-Inch by 12-1/2-Inch, Semi Clear - Pack of 6 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gGEHesu0L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy! *by K***S on 26 February 2022* This is the Cadillac of keep boxes and is a high quality product. Quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. They hold up much better than the Sterlite brand, but since they are over 3 times the price, they should be longlasting! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST STORAGE CONTAINERS SO FAR *by C***R on 27 March 2021* I have used bins of several varieties and this, though not the least cost, are the best performing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Medium duty, nesting totes, perfect for light industrial or home use *by K***3 on 18 January 2018* Great nesting totes. Lids close much better than the cheap knock-offs. I use about 120 of these for a youth literacy non-profit and handle about 25-35 lbs of books per tote. The plastic is thinner and more BRITTLE than truly industrial totes. These might crack if you drop them on concrete when empty. If loaded and dropped expect some damage. I use about 40 industrial totes meant for conveyors or roller tables. Those Akro-mils totes are industructible but without lids and are solid blue. ## Frequently Bought Together - Akro-Mils 66486 CLDBL 12-Gallon Plastic Storage KeepBox with Attached Lid, 21-1/2-Inch by 15-Inch by 12-1/2-Inch, Semi Clear - Pack of 6 - Akro-Mils KeepBox 18 Gallon Storage Container, Nesting and Stackable Plastic Storage Box with Lid Attached, Clear Tote for Garages, Closets, and Moving, 21" x 15" x 17", Clear/Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/752277620-akro-mils-66486-cldbl-12-gallon-plastic-storage-keepbox-attached](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/752277620-akro-mils-66486-cldbl-12-gallon-plastic-storage-keepbox-attached) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
