Mark Grayson has struggled with and endured a ton of battles and hardship in his young life, but he is able to find light in lieu of the battles through Eve and his family and fight for what is right and what he believed in. Sure, there have been times throughout the series (especially in this compendium) where he was wrong, but he took that to make him a better superhero and a better opponent to his enemies (Angstrom, Rex, Thragg, Anissa, etc). This compendium does a remarkable job wrapping up this comic by fleshing out so many of the characters we have loved from the beginning while making room to introduce new ones that stand out. Thragg is more prominent than ever in this comic, and there are many more plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat to keep turning to the next page, but at the end of it all, it comes down to a perfect, fitting, conclusion.
