In the past I have used industrial quality binding machines and this is not that. However, I do not need to use it often and it works fine for what I am doing these days. At this time I have only made about 20 booklets but it is still working well and making sharp punches and good holes. The plastic comb binding part works extremely well. I assembled eight 50 page booklets in about 10 minutes. Follow-up: I recently purchased clear plastic covers that were not prepunched. This unit cannot punch the plastic even one sheet at a time.
