I've been using Thermoskin for many years, and am on my third one now (each one has lasted several years when used nightly, laundered weekly). You'll know when to re-order as the edges will loosen & blacken... don't know why this happens, but it does not get on my skin or clothing ... I just reorder and am good to go for another several years! Once, I tried stopping it's use and my neck reverted to it's old aches and pains! SO! I learned my lesson! As to size, my neck is almost 15" and I use the size "small." At 14" you might feel squeezed in size XS, & that's no good for sleeping. A little loose is best! Besides, the Velcro fastening allows & holds for adjustment. I add a nightly application to my neck of good, old emu oil which, combined with the gentle warmth of the wrap, takes away any stiffness, or soreness I used to feel when waking in the morning. I never fail in this routine and my neck problems are a thing of the past ... I hope this will work for you! It's not an over-night, amazing cure ... it is consistent, steady use that brings relief! I don't always want the encumberance of a stiff neck brace and this product is a nice addition to my treatment arsonal.It does what it says and both the warmth and the protection from drafts are great. My only quibble is with the sizing. My neck measures within the range listed for medium but the product is quite snug; sometimes uncomfortably so. I found a cunning little product - Velcro Cloth Diaper Extender Tabs - which is a comfortable way to extend the fit. I did some research and it seems to be the manufacturer's size chart that's the problem.Anyway, Thermoskin is a nice idea and the neck one works well. The problem is a design that clearly was more focused on getting the maximum number of cuts out of the fabric roll and not at all on ergonomics or fit.The size is WAY too small as others have commented. Since my neck was at the very bottom of the size range listed for the neck wrap, I bought that size. Oops! The neck wrap that arrived was still too small.What is worse is that the design doesn't even really cover the parts of my neck that get cold and need protection.
