This is a compact lightweight bug zapper that gets the job done. The only gripe is that it's a pain to clean, The included brush is very hard to get through the grill to scrape the bugs off the rails. it's somewhat time consuming to clean. On the upside the frequent cleaning is necessary because it simply slaughters hordes of insects. Make sure that wherever you put it you don't mind having lots of dead bugs underneath... they pile up quickly. The grill spacing is set so that you get all the flies and mosquitoes but it keeps out the moths.

We purchased this to put in our yard, because our neighbor has farm animals and the flies are a really big problem on our property. We ended up keeping it in our living room, and this is the first spring where they're aren't a constant cloud of flies in our house! This has zapped every single one that has gotten in! We have used the glue and light traps before, and use those still in small spaces, but this zapper has made such a massive difference in our home! Highly, highly recommend! We have young kids too, and the Cafe around the light means no little fingers can reach the actual zapper part!

This works great. Does what is supposed to do. This is my second one. First still working after a year. Sound of bugs hitting it does not bother me. It did go up in price from previous purchase, but stuck with this brand because I know it works.

This is amazing and works really well. It kills so many mosquitos and bugs, but it also kills moths. I wish it had a smaller ope ingredients so the moths can't get in it. It also killed fire flies which made me sad and lady bugs. The color is bright. The noise when insects die is like pops, but when a moth gets killed its like a continual electrical torture. Its like not enough voltage to kill them right away. They have to be shocked for a while then they eventually die. Its awful.. the noise is a bit loud. Like I had to turn it off at night so I did t bother our neighbors in our apartment complex. There should be a way to fix that. This is very sturdy and easy to clean with the brush it comes with. Its easy to hang.

First it really works really well. I keep it inside close to my patio doors to catch the bugs that escape inside upon opening. I bought a second one for outside on the covered patio for when we are outside. Unfortunately, it was either the first or second one that just suddenly stopped working and it hasn’t even been a year. It’s supposed to have a 10 year lifespan, so I’m looking for information on how to get it replaced. It’s worth the money paid if they stand by their word.

It zaps, and it feeds the birds... this thing is fantastic.... my driveway is always inundated with mosquitos from a neighbors swamp (basically)... the difference before and after getting this zapper is huge. Interesting twist... the bottom of the zapper catches the bugs and parts that fall from the electric grid... when I go outside I will always see birds around the base of the zapper, kind of like a bird feeder... and they are eating up all the dead bugs... (they can't get shocked). So we have an ecosystem here... I never have to clean the thing out, bugs are dying like crazy, no more mosquito plague, and Im feeding the wildlife.

I just recently bought this bug zapper. It doesn't just dispatch enough electricty to stun the insect, it flat out kills them. This one is among the best when it comes to bug zappers of similar price and size. I will say that when the bug enterz the zapper and touches the grid, the zaps are loud, but that doesn't bother me. It's just proof that this bug zapper is about more than just stunning these insects. If you are serious about pest removal, bet this bug zapper.

Excellent bug zapper but it is quite fragile. I had this sitting on my garage floor and slightly bumped it, tipping it gently over. When I plugged it in, that gentle tipping over caused the filament in the bulb to break, (not the bulb, just the filament) and it no long worked. That was an expensive lesson in the trash.

I bought it for Riyadh. The socket head doesn’t match the one for Saudi and when I did buy an adaptor for it, it literally kept on consistent zapping for 10 sec then stopped working and then smell like burned plastic, it doesn’t fit in KSA or UAE kindly refrain from buying it.
