Aprea Instruments SX610 pH Pen Tester is designed for reliable measuring performance with a single-button easy operation in a mini body. A cost-effective choice for your general-purpose pH testing, including hydroponics, aquaculture, water treatment, pools & spas, beverage making, education, etc. The 8mm slim pH probe is replaceable and suitable for test tube measuring. Easy 1-3 point Auto. Calibration (7. 00, 4. 00, 10. 01) and 0 to 60˚C Auto. Temperature Compensation (ATC), 0. 01 pH/0. 6˚C accuracy with 0 to 14. 00 pH measuring range. Intelligent functions: switch from ˚F to ˚C, automatic power-off, low battery alarm, pH probe invalidation reminder (reminds you to replace the probe for reliable performance). The meter comes with a complete kit of premixed calibration solutions (7. 00, 4. 00, 10. 01), storage solution (3M KCL), CR2032 lithium batteries all in a small pocket carrying case. IP57 waterproof and dustproof floats on water, so you don’t have to worry if it falls in water by accident. The product is CE and RoHS certified, and is manufactured under an ISO 9001: 2015 certified quality system. Do NOT store the probe in distilled water or deionized water since it will cause damage to the electrode. Only use distilled water for rinsing the pH probe.

This instrument gives a presumably accurate result almost immediately. Supplied calibrating solutions are sparse but can evidently be reused if the probe is carefully cleaned as directed. A single multi-function button that works well replaces the two or three often present on other models. Allegedly waterproof, and the probe is replaceable. Sealing probe cap holds supplied soaking solution to protect and prolong life of electrode. Extra batteries supplied are a plus. Good instructions and warranty. Factory calibrated and even has its own serial number. Not a professional device that can cost hundreds, but certainly worth its price.

I have used numerous other products the cheap $15 yellow ones have gone through about 2 I've you strips and I have used the ph liquid. I was very hesitant in spending the money for a ph pen but figured if it last years and is accurate would be worth it. I can say that after a few months of pretty heavy use about every 2 to 3 days it's still right on point. I usually calibrate it once a week and the furtherest it has been off is .1 which is completely acceptable to me. Calibration couldn't be easier and usually holds for an extended period of time. If you're looking for a good value quality made ph pen no need to look any further. I don't usually buy anything until I read a million reviews and have weighed the cons and pros for a while. I found after looking at the reviews this was the one for me and I'm glad I went with it. Hope this helps anybody else. This is a complete independent review based on personal experience with no affiliation or help from the company whatsoever

Easy to use, appears to be accurate and truly beats the cheap $10-30 meters that are unstable and can take minutes to indicate a fixed reading. This instrument gives a presumably accurate result almost immediately. Supplied calibrating solutions are sparse but can evidently be reused if the probe is carefully cleaned as directed. A single multi-function button that works well replaces the two or three often present on other models. Allegedly waterproof, and the probe is replaceable.
