Review: Love them - Right after I got my stitches out I transitioned to these bandaids and I saw an immediate change in the healing on my arm. I can tell right away that they really lock in the moisture of the Aquaphor in a great way. I do agree with others that the price is very high for what you get but the quality is so worth it. I just bought a bunch more. You really can't put a price on seeing your wound/scar diminish this quickly. They stick well and don't leave any marks either on my sensitive skin.

Right after I got my stitches out I transitioned to these bandaids and I saw an immediate change in the healing on my arm. I can tell right away that they really lock in the moisture of the Aquaphor in a great way. I do agree with others that the price is very high for what you get but the quality is so worth it. I just bought a bunch more. You really can't put a price on seeing your wound/scar diminish this quickly. They stick well and don't leave any marks either on my sensitive skin.

Mepilex is always a high end product that hospitals use. I remember having to dress a 1" cut hole on my father's back due to a melenoma removal and Mepilex is what we went with to ensure fast healing and reduced scar tissue. I can personally attest that it's one of the best products out there and I will always use it for any wounds that I think may leave a scar. They are super comfortable and don't leave a rash after leaving it on for several days and the gel like matrix is especially soothing on burns. I recommend everyone have a few in their safety kit and Mepilex is a brand I trust given that I have experience with it in the past. That's not to say other brands aren't as good or better but I can't comment on that as I have only used Mepilex. Either way, these are so much better than a band-aid you can get at Walmart. Mepilex is the Lamborghini of band-aids but at the cost of a Honda😉
