Pros: Light weight for the sturdy reel body Med to light weight, good balance for a 10 or 11 for surf casting rod. It will not balance a 12 foot rod, it's boarder line working on an 11' Drag Sound it Amazing (similar to $200 reels). You will hear it on the beach.
