The MS-2 lets me play discreetly. The basic tone is Marshall all of the way. The clean channel does not have a lot of headroom, but I like it that way. The distort is akin to a JCM2000 on amber channel. It is very responsive to the volume control on the guitar. I will not judge its bass for its 3 inch speaker. It seems to sound best with single coils based on AB testing it on my split coil PRS McCarty. My 62 reissue Strat sounds great too. For what it is, excellent value and great choice for beginners to experienced players If you are a beginner, this is much better than what I stared with.
