On the positive side, they are very easy to use, convenient to travel with, and stick well to the skin without causing irritation. They do provide some relief from itching, which can make bug bites a little more manageable. If you’ve used hydrocolloid pimple patches before, these feel very similar. The main difference is that these bug bite patches are a bit thicker, which helps them stay in place and cover larger bites. However, I didn’t find them to be a miracle solution. While they helped reduce itching somewhat, they didn’t completely eliminate it, and I didn’t notice that they made my bug bites heal or disappear any faster. In my experience, they seemed to work better on larger, more irritated bites than on smaller ones.
