I use a 1/8 to 1/4 cable into my mixer without any problems, though I need to push the gain a bit as it comes in a bit softer than my other gear. **Q: 4 FON. I have a microfreak and a miniKorg. Owned the original SH-101 bk in the day. Wasn't impressed. Would this really be a useful addition? Thanks.** A: The original SH sound is there in all it's glory, but S1 adds a ton of excellent features, like polyphony! It has a lovely musical filter, a really useful/fun sequencer and amazing reverb and delay. The D motion chip is a nice extra and they used the ACB tech to make this sound analog without the price. Battery powered, midi and audio over USB C. What else are you looking for? It's stupid cheap for what you get and it sounds huge. The only tiny drawback is the red display from the 80s they decided to go with, and some functions are under one layer of menus. Not a huge deal at all and I'll never part with my S1.
