Worth the cost. - I have purchased these 3 times as I have expanded the number of pots I use and as a gift. I've used other cheaper brands, including the one where you get 5 pots for this same price. These are made of substantially thicker, more durable materials. I've gotten the black and tan ones, they're both made about the same. The tan ones will sometimes grow algae on the outside of them. The black ones will get hotter in the direct sun. So, pick your poison... These will last several seasons, particularly if you empty them and bring inside at the end of the season. I've given up on the cheap ones because they disintegrate and tear and, for me, their frustration just isn't worth it. I use the 20 gal version for tomatoes, inside a concrete reinforcing wire cage, fed by drip irrigation. Once set up, there's no work all season, except to trim suckers. A 20 gal pot with soil is not easy to move and the handles help, but they will rip if it's full and wet and you try to pick it off the ground (although far less than the cheaper ones). I generally move them before they're full and fill to the top once they're in place. Overall, these are high quality, and I think worth the extra cost for better materials, construction, and longevity. Review: Love the bags and the colors..... - Great bags for plantings!
