When I was pregnant and had GD the lancets barely hurt at all but then I suppose you do need more blood for this test and I certainly got more blood lol my result came through quickly and has put my mind at rest. So an answer that is negative in the UK could br positive in Europe. **Q: How to know whether the result is positive or negative?** A: Works like a COVID test. You have a jabber to pinprick your finger. Then drop the stated amount of blood onto the testkit.
