I was gonna go for a helix lt but saw mooer ge 300 and this. Suffice it to say I have never been prouder of my buying decision. The touch screen, bluetooth connectivity stole my heart away. If you are a gigging musician then you will love this unit. Super easy to dial in great tones( multiple tones in a single patch using scenes) which is a great thing to have. The seemless switching of scenes is a welcome thing. One of 2 grimes that i do have is that there is no expression pedal in this unit you have to buy it seperately And the screen however good it might be (and believe me its good as far as to say a 30k phone screen) I think as time goes on it may get damaged as all screens do and i cant seem to find any screen guard anywhere which is a bummer. In spite of all this I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is a live musician or a studio recording musician to go for this. This is a professional unit with easy to use UI like a smartphone. The drum Machine sucks tbh. Just play some youtube beats via bluetooth if u r into it. the bluetooth app control is a game changer imo. The changes u make in the app is instantaneous in the unit. Imagine you r gigging in a live environment, this unit is on the floor as it most likely will always be and u have a phone or tablet in front of you in a stand with the app open, u wanna add or reduce mix of reverb or wanna set drive gain or whatever u may want YOU DONT HAVE TO KNEEL AND DO THOSE CHANGES. Build quality is solid aluminium alloy i guess. Could have been a bit better but am just picking stuff out by this point ( don't get me wrong it will survive the test of time except the screen which is glass and glass is delicate.) There is a combo mic input to also gig live with but i found it not worth it to sacrifice 6 out of 12 effect blocks to have a mic and a guitar connected to this unit. But however the recordings you can with this unit is absolutely mind blowing. I have a Motu M2 interface and this unit is on par with that. So if u want this unit to also be ur audio interface u wont be disappointed in the slightest bit. Noise floor is quite low. I would ve loved a better noise gate effect in this unit but what there is good enough i guess. rest of the provided amps and cabs and effects like chorus reverb trem delays are absolutely god tier. I've played the Kemper, Fractal, Line 6, Tonex, and others. As far as raw tones, it sounds great - I'd say it's somewhere between the Helix and the Fractal, the latter being the best. However, Fractal's interface, if you've ever tried it, is a cluster of boxes and menus with endless tweaking options. Some may like to tinker, as I do at times, but more often than not I want to get right down to it! The stock rigs on this unit are garbage, as with most units, but building a new rig from scratch was simple and intuitive. It took me 5 minutes to build a rig and get exactly the tone I was looking for. While the Helix can load IRs, they don't come stock. The Ampero has tons of stock cabs plus dozens of Celestion IRs built right in. My only complaint is the. power supply is a small 9V, which is good for mounting to a pedalboard, but I prefer the IEC cable because I always have a spare. Minor detail. This sucker is CHEAP but plays and sounds EXPENSIVE.
