(Absolute model not currently available in the US which would have both cleaner heads together). I have mostly linoleum, tile, and vinyl/wood and my biggest complaint with any vacuum especially my newest shark is the scatter of stuff on hard floors. (I have a borzoi puppy so hair, mud, leaves and tiny chunks/pieces of pig snout, bully sticks, and yak sticks are all over the place all the time). So I really wanted this cleaner head. After watching reviews I decided to purchase this in advance. It appears the only difference between this V7 model and later models is the rear bumper added later. The price difference between this V7 model and V11 models is $50-$60 dollars currently. The soft roller can be removed for washing/cleaning. Using a coin you turn the little grey dial on the right upper side of the underside counterclockwise about a quarter turn. Mine would not then come off, I had to pry it and felt like I was breaking it. It did not get easier with repeated attempts. I have strong short nails and broke 2 trying this. Eventually I used a paint can lid tool to pry it loose and then swing it forward so I could access the roller. Other than that, this came well packed in genuine Dyson packaging and label/coding. It appears new with no wear and not a scratch. The maneuverability seems excellent and it connects to the wand with the typical strong snap/click (not a pressure connection). I will update this review after vacuum arrives and I've tested it. 2/8/20: My V11 Torque arrived and after the exhausting unboxing (creating heaps of cardboard to flatten!) I got to test everything out. This did indeed snap on and work beautifully. All of the modes/settings worked with it. It did spectacularly on vinyl/linoleum/hardwood. NO SCATTER! It picked up everything first pass, picked up stuff along edges and stuck against moldings. Worked much better on hard surfaces than the V11 torque power head that came with the new vacuum (that skittered some larger debris on Eco and Medium and Auto settings.) Very satisfied! Review: ABSOLUTELY BUY THIS - I use my Dyson V7 - A LOT, probably 3-4 times a day on our 2,500 sqft first floor - all hard wood. The original brush head has been tremendously hard on our floors and I decided to order the new V8 from Dyson because it's on sale and it has the hardwood floor attachment head. Since my V7 still has a perfect battery, I thought I'd see if this attachment would suffice and that perhaps I wouldn't need the new V8. I just pulled it out of the box, attached and it picked up EVERYTHING, better than the other head (hair, rice kernals, wood chips pieces from the firewood, GLITTER from the christmas tree that the other one continued to miss). It picks up small bits from the corners of kitchen cabinets that I used to have to dig out because the other head just pushed it in further. I am SSOOOOOO happy I don't have to get a new vacuum!!!
