When I plugged in the adapter the fitting was loose and I could hear the electrical clicks coming out of the plug with every slightest move. It takes button batteries though so maybe that’s going to be safer to use.I hope you find my review helpful in any way ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product - instructions are a bit difficult to understand *by K***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 March 2018* Great product, nice design and good size. Can easily be seen across a room. MUST be plugged in at the wall to function - has a small battery so that when unplugged the clock doesn't reset but the clock will not be lit up unless it is plugged in somewhere. Comes with a USB cable which fits into the back of the clock - this is black and will be quite visible if hung on a wall.Remote is very handy and useful for setting the time and the alarm; it is magnetic and attaches to the main clock which is very handy and stops you losing the remote. I have managed to set the time and set and alarm but there is no description of how to turn off the alarm function - it seems to be permanently on once set the first time. Comes with English instructions in the box.Product is mainly made of black plastic and is very lightweight.
