I've never owned one of these before, however I've used one before with complaints of always changing the batteries. I've used mine multiple times on a couple black hoodies and it works amazing. They look new when I'm done. I've actually purchased used clothing and made them look like new again. Some purple don't want to spend the time making something old look me again. It's so worth the time. The batteries last a very long time. Huge plus. And the USB-C connector plug makes it super simple to find a handy charger in more than one location in my home or shop. Keep that in mind, no lost chargers! 😃😃😃 Easy to clean, and sturdy enough for the job at hand. Be mindful on the threads of the cutter head cover. They are a fine thread. Other than that, it's light, compact and powerful enough to plow through heavy lint on materials. I can honestly say I'm very impressed with this tool. I'm a guy, so it's a tool. Lol!

This little POPCHOSE fabric shaver works very well and is easy to use. I had some pilling on my couch and in just minutes, after little effort, it was easily removed. It is simple to empty the shaver and clean it with the included cleaning brush. We’ll see how long each blade works before needing replacement. Two extra blades are included. I also like that the shaver came with a small bag to hold everything. And finally, that it is rechargeable!

This charged up really quickly and worked great right away. However, it seemed to clog up and stop before I got half way thru my first sock. It was easy to take apart and clean out with the brush and worked fine after that. It did a really good job cleaning up the pair of socks I had which were covered in pills. Its a nice small unit which is easy to store and came with a pouch to put all the pieces in.

I got this a few days ago and immediately tried it on one of my merino wool sweaters that was heavily pilled. This lint shaver did an amazing job on it. I am wandering all of the house using it on everything that has lint on it. It comes with two extra rotary blade assemblies, presumably because the blades will eventually get dull. It is difficult to take the battery cover off but I finally was able to. It takes just one AA battery. It also comes with a tiny brush which is very useful for brushing lint off the blades. I initially used it with the plastic cover on and it kinda worked but then I realized youre probably supposed to take that off when you use it! If you have a heavily pilled garment you might have to empty the lint chamber more than once while de-pilling it ... but that is no big deal. This is an amazingly well-designed product. I am kinda obsessed with it! SO ... some advice from an expert knitter. If you are using it on a knit item, be sure to note the difference between a PILL and a PULLED THREAD. You want it to shave off the pills, but DO NOT shave off the pulled threads. The reason is that by cutting a pulled thread you are literally making a tiny hole in the garment, something which will allow the knitting to unravel. Deal with pulled threads by pulling them to the wrong side of the garment where they cant be seen. There are probably youtube videos out there explaining this but basically, thread a fine needle with thread (dont tie a knot in the end), push it through from the back to the spot where the pulled thread is located, go THROUGH the pulled thread loop or even through the yarn itself, then back down through the exact spot where you inserted the needle. this should pull the pulled thread to the back of the garment, where you can slip the needle and thread free, leaving the pulled thread on the wrong side where it wont show!

works great and removed a bunch of pills from my cashmere sweaters so they now look like new. everyone should have one! plus it also has several extra blades if needed although I am sure the original one will last a while. it also doesn't need batteries so very convenient!

Regret not buying sooner. Very easy to use on clothing, upholstery, carpets/rugs. Rechargeable is nice but the battery version is probably okay too. I have to take the razor blades off to clean them when lint sticks to them after a few uses. I’ve used this on a bunch of things and the blades still seem sharp enough. There is a safety feature that won’t let you turn it on while you clean it so that’s nice. It felt a little cheap at first but seems pretty durable. Overall really effective and saved a few clothing items that were pilling really bad.

This device is amazing, it has saved me throwing out clothes, they come up looking brand new once you use this. Its a game changer. It's lightweight and USB rechargeable which is even better.
