They are bigger than I though but very sturdy, they fit perfectly in the pots I have. As I've only just planted the tomatoes in them it's hard to say how well they will work. A word of caution, they sit proud about my plant pots so care has to be taken when moving the pots to hold the plant pot and not the halos.
