Snaps straight into place using the original mounting points on the side. I personally find it very comfortable and holds the headset on my face alot better then the normal strap. With the headband over the top it takes the pressure off the front of your face. So it doesnt feel like its hanging off your face. The adjustment wheel on the back also helps get the perfect fit and face seal. There is a little light leakage around the nose but thats the design of the headset rather then the strap.
