Thank you** A: If the dough ball is the size of a golf ball, then approx thickness is about 2mm. Hope this helps. **Q: Can this be used to make roti/ chapati/ Indian flat bread** A: They might turn out a little thick, but yes, I make wraps, press them four times, with each press rotating the wrap so I get an even flatter result. Hope this helps. **Q: Can you put it on the cooker and cook it while on the press** A: No. This item is only to actually make the tortilla, not to cook it. **Q: can you get the book as a paper copy rather than as an e-book?** A: Not sure but you could always print the ebook out ## Frequently Bought Together - Tortillada – Tortilla Press, Quesadilla/Roti Maker Large Size - Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron with Recipes E-Book (12 Inch) - Katbite 12 Inch 200Pcs Parchment Paper Rounds, Round Baking Sheets Paper for Patty Separating, Freezing, Springform Cake Tin, Toaster Oven, Tortilla Press --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/557759157-cast-iron-tortilla-press-30-cm](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/557759157-cast-iron-tortilla-press-30-cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
