I used zip ties to keep them from going anyware just in case they came out from between the springs and do recommend the same for anyone purchasing them. I resently replaced my shocks and removed these to see if I still needed them. They left a very small groove in the spring from constant shifting but not enough to cause consern and they did the job and had no visible wear on them, very durable. I no longer need them because of the new shocks but would use them again in a pinch.
