Most are made from silk,nylon or polyester.** A: don't know,,,,,,the product packet doesn't say **Q: How wide and how thick is this tape?** A: Wide: I'd say 2 or 3mm. Thickness: its quite thin. I bought it because my lower teeth are so tight together, I couldn't get normal dental floss between them without it shredding. **Q: Is this dental tape smooth?** A: Yes, and it doesn’t shred.
