I wasn't expecting this level of quality from such an affordable optic, but it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was quick and straightforward. It mounted securely to the rail, and I had it sighted in after just a few adjustments. Once zeroed, it has held its point of aim well during my shooting sessions. The glass is nice and clear, the red dot is bright and easy to see, and the multiple brightness settings make it easy to use in different lighting conditions. The construction also feels much more solid than I expected. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and everything from the adjustment knobs to the mount has a quality feel to it. What really stands out is the value for the money. There are certainly more expensive red dot sights on the market, but for casual target shooting, plinking, or mounting on a pellet gun, this one delivers excellent performance without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a dependable, budget-friendly red dot that is easy to mount, easy to zero, and performs well, I think this is an excellent choice. I'd definitely buy it again. Highly recommended! Review: Works great for my needs - I purchased 2 of these. For the price this red dot is awesome. I’m not a serious shooter, mostly for target practice. I don’t have the most expensive guns, but I do like accuracy, and it’s pretty good for my needs. Compared to other red dots that cost $150 - $400, it does what I want. I put the dot on the target and as long as I’m steady it puts the bullet on or close to the dot. It does not have a shake awake feature, you have to physically turn it on. It does run off a battery, they send 2. After about 4 shooting sessions I’m still on the first battery. I have only shot indoors at a gun range so I can see the dot pretty well, you can adjust the brightness of the dot. Haven’t used on an outside gun range yet, so not sure how bright the dot will be in sun light. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. If using for personal protection, seconds count, may want a shake awake feature. Fits great and easy install on my AR style rifles. ## Features - [ More Accurate ] From 3-4MOA to 2MOA. Right now they are running between 6 and 8 bucks here on Amazon. **Q: What riser height for co witness** A: Bushnell TRS-25, which this appears to be a clone of except TRS-25 is 3MOA vs 4MOA RedDot with 1.0" riser gives 1/3 Co-Witness... So for true Co-Witness I'd think 0.83 riser is needed. **Q: Should the "dot" be a well defined round dot? I just purchased two of these and the "dot" is not round it's more like a flame on a match.** A: Had the same issue. Dot looked like a pbs documentary nebula. Put my glasses back on...low and behold....clear round dot. I've had several red and green dot sights do this. If you still see spider webs after the glasses, contact the manufacturer. They've been known to have issues. I've been pretty fortunate. Mostly my eyes, not the hardware. **Q: What is the recommended torque for the riser mount screw? The red dot itself is 45-65 inch lbs, but it doesn’t say how much for the riser.** A: I did the riser at 45 in lbs. used some non permanent lock tite to hold in place. I have it mounted on a Ruger 10/22 rifle. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Value and Better Than Expected *by R***W on August 3, 2026* I picked up this red dot sight for my pellet pistol, and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed, especially considering the price. From the Amazon picture it looked like it was going to be a semi-glossy 'gold' color, at least it's not that. ***The red dot itself is very bright, I have not used it outside, it's all cloudy anyway. I have an astigmatism, so of course the dot won't be round, I am more than sure it's me, not it. I am STILL awaiting my Ruger PC Carbine to put it on, so I don't know how that will be since it's a Desert Verde color, which is almost a VERY light sage green. While I am waiting I placed it on a couple more rifles and as far as I can tell, it will be fine, that is, IF it holds up when I do use it, that still remains to be seen. ***I cannot (yet) attest to any accuracy. ***The quality appears to be very good. ***It also appears to be made very durable. The box it shipped in was a very sturdy one, and I had zero problems on my order, which is a really good thing. ***It has been mentioned that the riser is crooked, mine looks fine on one end, the other end does 'appear' to be slightly off, although, that could sure be just a trick on my vision, but, when I get it all installed, I will know more and report back, I promise. On mine, where the riser meets the scope is where it appears that way not where it meets the rifle. I'll add more and change things once I know more. Hopefully this will be a good one. My ONLY real thing that I wish it had is a green dot, too, I love the green ones, this doesn't come that way and I knew it, so it's a not so much a negative than it is a 'I wish it was green, too'. ## Frequently Bought Together - MidTen 2MOA Red Dot Sight 1x25mm Reflex Sight Waterproof & Shockproof & Fog-Proof Red Dot Scope with 1 inch Riser Mount - Bontok Single Picatinny Aluminum Accessory Rail Set for Mlock 3 5 7 9 11 13 Slots with 13 T-Nuts & Screws, 6 Wrench-Rounded Corner - CVLIFE Rifle Sling Two Point Sling Adjustable Length Gun Sling for Rifle with 2 Pack Sling Swivel for M-Rail --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/544731034-2moa-red-dot-sight-1x25mm-reflex-sight-waterproof-and-shockproof](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/544731034-2moa-red-dot-sight-1x25mm-reflex-sight-waterproof-and-shockproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
