Product description PTM7950, a high thermal conductive Phase Change Material (PCM) in pad format, was designed to minimize thermal resistance at interfaces and has the great excellent long term reliability. Based on a novel polymer PCM system, this material exhibits excellent wetting at interfaces during typical operating temperature range, resulting in very low surface contact resistance. A proprietary filler material provides high thermal conductivity 8.5W/m ·K and a low thermal impedance (<0.04˚C cm²/W), suitable for high performance IC devices. how the PTM7950 thermal pad works ? Voher: GPU Temp: 75° Hotspot: 97-105° Nacher:GPU Temp: 70° Hotspot: 85-89 Ich bin wirklich überrascht wie gut Thermopads geworden sind, damals hieß es ja quasi immer nur das Thermopads soviel schlechter seien als Paste, aber diesen Unterschied hätte ich wirklich nicht erwartet. I used it to re-paste my laptop Legion 5 Pro 2021 16ACH6H because the processor reached 104°C using Arctic MX4. It worked as you can see in my screenshot attachments (they were running Cinebench r23) and reducing the temps in some of my games by up to 20°C. They provided provided tools but I think they were inappropriate, why do I need a screwdriver and a brush? They should have provided a tweezer instead to remove the plastic covering the pad.

**Q: Is PTM7950 good replacement for thermal paste for laptops?**
A: Sure. you can use those pads as a replacement for regular thermal paste one your laptop or desktop computer. PTM 7950 is probably the best thermal paste you can buy for a laptop right now. I tested it on my Dell G15,it performs admirably and beat the OEM thermal paste used by Dell in my laptop I would highly recommend this PTM7950 thermal pad to anyone who has an overheating laptop

**Q: how's the performance?**
A: So far seems to be extremely good. Applied this on a Dell XPS15 9570 laptop, the temps have dropped by around 15 degrees. and this product seems to stay within good price! If you need moderate price thermal conductivity thermal pads, I would recommend this thermal pad! Worth a try

**Q: Hey, how is this comparable to "Honeywell" 7950 phase change thermal pad. Is this the same thing?**
A: I've installed it in a very hot trashcan Mac Pro in both GPUS and CPU and the temperatures have dropped by around 15 degrees. to the point that I can overclock the GPUs safely in windows. I'd say the performance is incredible but I can't say for certain if it's as good a one sold by the name brand Honeywell. but from reviews I've seen on YouTube and other commenters on other websites seems like these are also Honeywell, just sold in bulk to resellers.
