Review: Different but very very useful - Has some oddities you have to overcome, like if you want to use only seconds, like melting butter, you have to hit Cook Time and then number of seconds and with some settings you have to hit Stop twice. If you just hit the One (number) it takes off for one minute without hitting Start. So you need to read the manual and I know a lot of people don’t like to do this. BUT the inverter is awesome. You put in a package of frozen chicken, put in the weight and it calculates and the chicken comes out perfectly thawed. No edges cooked and rubbery. That alone makes it a great addition. I like the 30 seconds button. And once you get used to the way it counts other things, it’s a pleasure and easy.

**Q: I'm not able to set the clock, how do I set the clock**
A: Press CLOCK/KITCHEN TIMER.  You’ll see something flashing on screen.  Insert the time.  If it’s 7:00, you’ll enter 07 for the hour and then the minutes/seconds. Press CLOCK/KITCHEN TIMER again.

**Q: This unit consumes 1300W to produce 1000W, an efficiency under 77%, abysmal for an inverter model. How do you justify selling this wastefulness?**
A: complain to the people who made it.

**Q: We just got our microwave, plugged it in and we are getting an “error 0” message before even being able to use it. Any idea what this means?**
A: We do apologize, but here is a problem with the unit.  We recommend exchanging it.

### ⭐ Bad support from Amazon

This product was ordered and shipped my 88 year old dad. It was tossed up on his wooden deck porch. After a few uses the entire glass door shattered on this Emerson microwave, cutting him in several places including face and eyes. Customer service at Amazon was contacted and they refused to replace or refund this item. Please check all items ordered from Amazon since care of delivery of packages does not seem to be of concern to them. I can not say 100% it was Amazon that caused this accident or a defective product but I’ve never had a microwave door completely shatter while warming a cup of coffee for less than a minute.
