This works great, at least for a while. However the screw locking parts are quite small and they seem to work loose with the natural vibration of the guitar, so at some point you will find yourself hunting one or more of them down. The same goes for the locking attachment to the block, the very tiny screw came loose and the whole assembly fell apart. As a consequence of this the mechanism has developed a tiny bit of slop in the hinge joint, which means the hinge vibrates when you play and that is transferred to the strings, so the strings vibrate, VERY noticeably. With a more secure means of locking the thing down as required this would have been great. Removed and wont be replacing. Think this will work for me?** A: I believe most squire strats have the 6 screw mount..If that is the case on yours, Tremol-No recommends this one (Pin Type). **Q: Can you tune to drop a with this thing???** A: Yes with the bridge locked it basically acts like a fixed bridge.
