The book covered the basics of photography, what you need and when you need it and then went on to explore the more advanced settings and how to incorporate these into your normal routine when out and about. All the information shown is made clear with very good photographic examples which clarify the results and, although I do not class myself as a beginner, I still learned a great deal from this well structured book. I am sure it will be useful as a reference guide book for many years.

This is a well planned and excellent read for anyone wanting to explore landscape photography and I would heartily recommend this book for beginners and veterans alike. A book of excellent techniques well explained, and very detailed but the process of explanation and construction are well paced. Excellent photos, expert;y taken not simply point and push the button, the author explains his tips and insights, how photos are put together in different conditions, as well as how to and how not to apply accessory equipment. Takes a little time to work through but a lot of tips and knowledge which can be easily applied and built upon.
