These paint brushes arrived packed in a thin cardboard box and all were intact, new, and ready to use. The foam tips are soft and absorbent, the handle is the standard wood dowel and so far I have used these brushes successfully for light polyurethane application and also for touching up deck stain. However they're not so high quality that you feel guilty throwing them out when you're done.
