A: Just the top, however, it projects nicely.  And you can position it any way you want as the egg just sits on top the base!  The farther you have it from the ceiling with nothing in the way (like lamps or dressers) the better.
I recommend setting it up in the corner of the room.
I love mine!  I've purchased 2 so far!

**Q: The remote control stopped working. How can I get a replacement?**
A: Dear buyer: the specification of our colorful egg is: 6.3 "D x 4.7 "W x 4.7 "H, very portable. But it doesn't have charging function.It is powered by USB DC 5V only.
