You can then insert the Dryrod from both the interior and the exterior.It is important to note that the Dryrod is designed to be inserted directly into the mortar course. When installing a DPC it is normally recommended by building engineers to remove the plaster up to 1 meter above the DPC as it may be damaged by the ingress of moisture. I think a little staining is a small price to pay in avoiding this expensive and very messy work. **Q: Can these be used on a cavity wall** A: I would suggest that these are used on internal walls cavity walls and internal walls only. However the manufacturers could provide further guidance.
