Learning Resources Classroom Magnet Lab Kit

My son loves this kit, which we bought him for Christmas. It has a variety of magnets, bar magnets, horseshoes, all sorts of things. He also thinks it's cool to pick up the chips and balls with the other magnets, and it's been a great introduction to the concept of attracting and repelling. He likes to make things with them, and we're planning to do the experiment with him where you put iron shavings in sand and have the magnets pull out just the iron. I think he'll really enjoy this. I know it's meant as a classroom toy, but it works well for home use too.

This is a great set- I work with children with physical difficulties and they enjoy the experience of feeling the magnetic field created holding the magnetic sticks together and holding the stick (with help) to 'collect' the magnetic balls and coins! the sticks have very strong magnetic field.

I like this set. It does seem a bit expensive but it’s realky nice and educational and fun and seems good quality. I got it for my son but it has 6 spatulas so it can be played with by more children.

Item arrived promptly. Box was a little smaller than anticipated. Contains a good selection of magnets. Bought this for a four and a half year old boy and he loves it! He's had lots of fun exploring the magnets.

They are part of the playroom of my daughter, where we have several Montessori activities.

A great little set. The kids in my setting love exploring and investigating with the magnets provided. Their favourite being the magnetic balls. Great value for the money.

Arrived on time.good quality magnets. Would have liked a few more experiments to demonstrate to children.

I use these at classes I teach. The parents love them just vas much as the children.

This is a nice kit but there’s too many wands for the rest. I wish there were as many magnetic horseshoe as there’s wands and more magnetic marbles specially for a classroom. Horseshoe we can buy separately but haven’t found any magnetic marbles sold separately. The wands are really strong magnets. Each kind of magnets have their own strength I guess there’s a reason in science for that! Overall a good and fun to play with.

Love this magnet set. Got this for my 4-year-old son. It was great for learning toy, however, the small parts are very small and I would recommend using those particular parts only under adult supervision, as they are magnetic and dangerous if swallowed. I did have a couple of the small red "U" shaped magnets that broke in half after only a few uses, which was a little disappointing. However, the set offers so many other great items inside that the "U" shaped magnets weren't missed for long. Would highly recommend this product.

Se lo regalé a mi sobrinito de 8 años que se rompió el brazo en Navidad. Se le olvidó el brazo roto. Estuvo feliz durante la vacación. Tiene dos hermanos, uno más grande y uno más chico y a los tres les encantan todos los imanes. Seguro compraré para mis nietos cuando ya no sean bebés.

Una bella scatola per sperimentare con il magnetismo. La qualità è top, a differenza dagli altri kit di magnetismo che duravano meno di un giorno. Resistente e robusto, colori vivaci, il bimbo di 7 anni è rimasto felice. Gli istruzioni sono da leggere da un adulto, ma anche è intuitivo cosa si può fare.

Ich verwende das Magnetspiel mit meinem Kleinkind zu Hause und mit den Kindern in der Schule. Sowohl mein Kind als auch die SchülerInnen sind begeistert! Die Kinder erforschen den Magnetismus und ich baue die Magnetstäbe in viele Unterrichtsspiele ein. Ich bin begeistert!
