This product may originate from China or Vietnam Review: Very good price && does the job! Great value for money! 🖤 - Very pleased with this optical audio cable, it is very short which I don’t mind as it keeps the cable nice and snug and out of the way. I used it to connect my LG soundbar to my tv as the last one stopped working. I’ve got to say it is really good and it does the job it’s intended to do. My soundbar now sounds a lot better, so no more tinny sound from my tv 😂 If I had to say a negative part of this cable I’d say it would only be that the cable is very thick and chunky so a little heavy when plugged into the back of my tv but other than that I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend! Thank you! 🤩 Review: Affordable, high-quality audio connectivity - I picked up the desertcart Basics Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable to connect my TV to a soundbar, and it’s been an absolutely excellent buy. If you need a simple, reliable, and affordable solution for transferring digital audio between devices, this cable is hard to beat. First impressions are good — the cable arrives neatly packaged and includes protective caps on the connectors, which is a small but thoughtful detail that protects the fragile optical tips during transit. The build quality is impressive for the price: the cable feels flexible yet sturdy, with a braided outer jacket that resists kinks and tangles without being too stiff. The connection was seamless. I plugged it into my LG TV and my Samsung soundbar, and within seconds, the devices were communicating perfectly. The fit is snug but not excessively tight, meaning you don’t have to force it in or worry about damaging the ports. In terms of performance, the sound quality is excellent. Being a digital optical connection, it carries clear, clean audio without the possibility of electrical interference — ideal if you’re looking to get the most out of a home cinema setup. Dialogue is crisp, bass is solid, and high frequencies come through without harshness or distortion. I tested it across films, games, and streaming music, and the consistency of the sound was fantastic. At around 1.8 metres in length, it’s perfect for most home setups, offering enough slack to route it neatly behind entertainment units without leaving excess cable coiled awkwardly. One of the great benefits of optical cables is that they’re ideal for transmitting surround sound formats like Dolby Digital and DTS, and this cable handles those effortlessly. Watching films with multi-channel audio really showcases how much of a difference a proper optical connection can make compared to basic HDMI ARC or Bluetooth setups. If I had to make one small suggestion, it would be to offer a version with 90-degree connectors for wall-mounted TVs — but that’s available elsewhere if needed. Overall, the desertcart Basics Toslink Cable is a brilliant, affordable solution for anyone who needs reliable, high-quality audio connectivity between TVs, soundbars, consoles, or AV receivers. Highly recommended! ## Features - Please REMOVE the end protective caps before using the cable. - IN THE BOX: 9.8-foot digital optical audio Toslink cable. - CLEAR AUDIO: Multi-channel, fiber-optic digital audio output; corrosion resistant gold-plated connectors and buffer tubing for optimal signal transfer. - DURABLE: Lightweight, flexible cable with a rugged PVC exterior and removable rubber tips that protect the cable when not plugged in; remove before using. - CONNECTS DEVICES: Quickly connects a sound bar, CD player, Blu-Ray player, game console, or other device to an audio system or TV. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00L3KO3YU | | Best Sellers Rank | 401 in Electronics & Photo ( See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo ) 2 in Fibre Optic Cables | | Brand | Amazon Basics | | Cable Type | Fibre Optic | | Cable type | Fibre Optic | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Télévision | | Compatible Phone Models | Amazon | | Compatible devices | Télévision | | Compatible phone models | Amazon | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Male | | Connector Type | TOSLINK | | Connector type | TOSLINK | | Country Of Origin | Vietnam | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 170,444 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00848719060843 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 0.13 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Amazon | | Manufacturer Part Number | HL-003143 | | Model Name | HL-003143 | | Model Number | HL-003143 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Durable,Flexible | | Outer Material | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Recommended Uses For Product | Connect Devices | | Special feature | Durable,Flexible | | UPC | 848719060843 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Amazon Basics - **Cable type:** Fibre Optic - **Compatible devices:** Télévision - **Connector type:** TOSLINK - **Special feature:** Durable,Flexible ## Images ![Amazon Basics Toslink Optical Audio Cable for Sound Bar, Home Theatre, 3 m, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71N9CRo2JML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this the right one for ps4?** A: Sorry.
