I'm thinking of buying it for my son's first birthday and I'd want him to use it for awhile.** A: We gave this our granddaughter at age 6 months. She is now 14 months and she continues to play with it more and more and is always learning new things to do with it. We have to keep it in the square configuration because she tries to tip it over. She loves to crawl thorough all the openings. Her 3 year old brother likes to get in the middle and crawl through the openings, and plays with the various activities. I would definitely buy it for age 6 months, and keep it for three years. **Q: Id this is on a wood floor and a 9 month old child uses it to pull up, can it tip?** A: My son has tipped this onto himself in both the square and long configuration. He also flipped over the side of it today, i am very dissatisfied. He is 11 1/2 months old and received this around 6 months old. By the time he was old enough to really play with it he was already flipping it. The toy is very neat and my son loves it but i dont think i would buy again considering my son keeps getting hurt on it.
