There is space beneath for both the other child's cabin bed (complete with drawers) and a long desk with both children's computers on it, because as you will notice the entire left side is open and unimpeded. The fixings pack even included some spares The only reason this doesn't get five stars is because the instructions need to be rewritten. Diagrams would also help. You will get over your bafflement through the use of logic, though, and then you will find yourself with a nice,solid, locally-made bed at an excellent price.

A: You don't have to, most people like the natural modern finish. However you can use easily paint or stain to match existing furniture. There are no chemicals or treatments in this timber.

A: Yes, this is a heavy duty bunk bed, tested to 40 stone so can be used by adults. The side rails and base slats have been upgraded to take this extra weight.

**Q: How sturdy is this bunk bed?**
A: The corner posts are 60mm thick, children's beds are normally only 40mm thick. This makes for a sturdy bunk bed, we also include wall fixing brackets in addition for added security.

**Q: How safe is this bed safe?**
A: Very safe, being made in the UK it has to comply to British Standard: EN747-1:2012+A1:2015. The guard rails are fixed and made using strong 19mm thick solid pine.

Excellent bed and excellent quality and service. Not only do you get a bed, but tons of space underneath. We were able to put a gaming station and wardrobe under our sons, now uses his bedroom more. We were fortunate to get the limited time offer but would have happily of paid extra. Definitely requires two people to support guard rails when assembling.
