Since the cover just kind of slides onto the seat it will simply sit up a little higher on the seat but it doesn't have any problem fitting. I'm very happy with this combination. **Q: How long have you had your machine and is it holding up? Would this work for someone who is 5'10"?** A: We have had our machine since August 2018. The seat cover is holding up just fine on our rower.
