I have used it on various items including a large porcelain figurine that had been glued to a wooden plinth but had come unstuck leaving a large thick area of old glue. I have also used it on our green wheelie bin when the old sticker had to be replaced with a new one and in trying to remove it I was left with half of the sticker left on the bin. I was a bit unsure about using it on the book as I thought it might soak into the cover itself and ruin it but no, I was very careful in applying it and it came off no trouble leaving nothing behind!! I've never found any table etc I couldn't remove using this.
