The design is compact, and the build feels solid and premium, with a nice transparent casing that adds to the retro vibe. The controls are well laid out, and both the buttons and joysticks are responsive, making gameplay smooth. The display is crisp and bright, which makes retro games look surprisingly good. It’s portable, making it easy to take anywhere, which my nephews loved since they could play their favorite games on. One of the standout features of this handheld is its dual OS setup with Android 11 and Linux. This versatility gives you access to a wide range of games and emulators. The pre-installed 4452 games are a huge plus, offering hours of entertainment without needing to hunt down additional titles. The console supports 5G WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, making multiplayer games and online fighting easy to access. I noticed no lag during gameplay, and streaming through HDMI works well for playing on a larger screen. The variety of pre-installed games is impressive, from classic arcade titles to platformers and RPGs. My nephews found their favorites instantly, and it’s been a great way to introduce them to games I grew up with. The TF card storage is a convenient feature, giving you ample space for additional games. The HDMI output and Bluetooth capabilities also open up more opportunities for multiplayer fun and streaming to larger screens. The battery life is decent, lasting long enough for several hours of gameplay before needing a recharge. However, intense gaming sessions may drain it a bit faster, so having a charger handy is a good idea if you’re playing for extended periods. This is a fantastic device for retro gaming enthusiasts and new players alike. The pre-installed games, high performance, and dual OS functionality make it a versatile and fun console. My nephews loved it, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a portable gaming system packed with features. The price point is reasonable considering everything that comes with it, and it’s an excellent gift for gamers of all ages! Review: Paying a premium but a safer buy - I love this thing. You can flash custom firmware onto this to improve its compatibility, but you'll have a great time out of the box with the stock OS and games provided. Great for kids 10+, but probably not much younger incase they access the emulator settings and mess something up. I've yet to find a PS1 game it can't handle, and it even runs a fair amount of Dreamcast games (but performance may vary). Saturn performance improves with custom OS. Look into it - not super hard to do. This is the V model, which has both Linux and Android modes. If you're a basic user, you can probably get away with the cheaper VS model which only does Linux. Additionally, you can find THIS model for cheaper on the official website or a certain chinese import vendor but I'd ask you to consider; A. these are made-in-China Frankenstein machines made with repurposed parts. Good build quality but they don't always have the best quality control. Getting a wonky one is not an extremely rare occurrence. Having desertcart to facilitate an easy return is worth the premium IMO. B. You'll be paying approx. $20 shipping and waiting about 10 days for it to come from China with the other options. This listing came the next day for me, which tells me it's warehoused in the United States. So long story short - this listing charges a premium, but it's a safer purchase and you'll be getting it much faster. ## Features - 【RG353VS Game Console with Linux System RG3566】Linux 64 bit system supports wired handle function compatible with 32 bit applications,rg353vs is not only a game console, but also a multi-function entertainment device. - 【Moonlight Streaming and HDMI】RG353VS Supports Moonlight that you can play your PC games on almost any device, whether you're in another room or miles away from your gaming rig. Advertised 4452 and only got 3,694. Some of which were the main reasons I got this. ## Frequently Bought Together - Retro Handheld Game Linux System RG3566 3.5 inch IPS Screen,RG353VS with 64G TF Card Pre-Installed 4452 Games Supports 5G WiFi 4.2 Bluetooth Online Fighting,Streaming and HDMI - RAWECUD Hard Carrying Case for RG353V Handheld Game Console, Accessories for RG353V Portable Game Console Storage Case - SAMSUNG EVO Select Micro SD-Memory-Card + Adapter, 256GB microSDXC 130MB/s Full HD & 4K UHD, UHS-I, U3, A2, V30, Expanded Storage for Android Smartphones, Tablets, Nintendo-Switch (MB-ME256KA/AM) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/482117481-rg353vs-retro-handheld-game-linux-system-rg3566-3-5-inch](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/482117481-rg353vs-retro-handheld-game-linux-system-rg3566-3-5-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
