So I am sold on the sticker alone haha. Nope it seems to do what it says on the tin. Works straight out of the box no phantom power needed. Very little feedback. I only began to notice some when running it through 4 tracks and a vocoder. I have not really barked at it yet, but the bass response is quite phenomenal actually when you get in close. So far I am happy with this purchase, If it still alive and kicking in a few years I will be supremely happy with it. Having previously bought a condenser mic and had it break on me. I currently own 3 that are used by the 3 Vocalists in my performing band thru a mixing board, then out to the PA at shows...or when connected directly to our digital system for recording, and have NEVER USED OR NEEDED ‘phantom power’. My equipment does have it available, but only have to switch it on when using CONDENSER MICS. These do require a source of power because their internal capacitor needs it.
