If you have a slim child with long legs then I do not recommend these pants. The pull strings that my son uses to pull such pants tight are purely decorative therefore these pants are about 2 inches to wide for my son. He says they are super comfortable so I will find a way to cinch them. The length is perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheap feeling material *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 31, 2021* These are a weird cheap material. They are the kind of material where when I wash them I won’t be able to tumble dry them as they will develop a ton of fuzz balls all over. I bought a pair very similar in store and this happened so as soon as I felt these I thought “UGH, not this material again”. Only difference is the pants in store were like $8 & these were about $15 so that sucks. Shopping online never seems to work. I’m just gonna hang them to dry but with 3 boys and a busy schedule I’m sure I’ll forget and they’ll be all fuzzy in no time.Also, in the color options be careful as the grey with pockets and the grey without are depicted as looking as if one is a dark and one is a light grey, I ordered both as I was just going kinda quickly but now I have two that are the same color. I went back just now and saw DUH, same exact name only difference is with pockets. My own fault however the picture showed a darker color so I thought they’d be different shades.Anyway I thought Southpole was a decent brand and it would seem quality is no longer that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Order a size down *by H***J on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 20, 2020* So....I sat here one evening, and read all the reviews about ordering a size down, and then came across one person that said not to do that. I thought her son must be like mine....a beefy kid. So thinking that all these other reviews were written by people with average or slim children, I ordered what I thought would be his normal size....a large. He's 9 years old, tall for his age, and also a beefy/stocky kid. He wears a large in a Nike sweatpant, and an XL in Old Navy brand. I ordered a large in these and they were HUGE. Way too long and way to big around the waist. I am 5'2" and 175 pounds and a large fits me, except they were a little snug in the thighs. So if you are a skinny short female who usually wears a women's medium, a large in these will fit you well. They are thick, and soft. They feel very warm. I can't comment on how they wash...we haven't washed them yet. I bought these for halloween so my son could go as DJ Marshmello. I ordered a medium and returned the large. The medium fit him great. Plenty of room.
