La simulación de resistencia es algo que muchos simuladores no traen , buena opción para comprobación de lazos de temperatura ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good performance for cost, more accurate than the specs, but Great Snoozin' Cthulhu, that UI! *by K***S on August 19, 2025* Bought this as a short term stop-gap because my Fluke 787's current output decided to fail, so while that's getting repaired, I wanted this device to handle some cal/check stuff in the meantime. The good: Very accurate - I mean surprisingly so. Using a 6-1/2 digit benchtop DMM the overall accuracy was within 0.005mA out of the box. Very stable : with the mA output set at 80%, the output was right at +/- 16.0003mA, drifting between ~16.00045mA to ~16.00013mA - which is significantly better than most of the rest of the inexpensive calibrators here. Provided *cables* were pretty decent - not great, but decent, about as good as could be expected for the unit cost. Came well packed in a well designed box with nice foam packing. The "Huh?" - It arrived completely discharged: dead, dead deadski on the battery. Charged for ~4 hours & the indicator light went out *without* turning green. Unplugged/replugged the USB input, and charged for about another 15-20 minutes... and went out again. Repeated that & on the 3rd cycle it went green. So be patient if yours is completely discharged. The meh-bad: The USB charger is European pin style AC connection, so useless for me. The current output requires at least a fair few ohms to function - it will show "OC" if the current loop load is open or directly shorted (i.e. no load resistor) The actual bad: The user interface is about as bad as I've ever seen. Like... bad. Bad on toast. Dung-encrusted soup spoon bad. Completely non-intuitive. If you mess with it *enough*, you can get the basic functionality, and as I said earlier, it is *accurate*, and it drifts very little, but yeah... Ugh. Poor, poor design. The manual is also completely useless. In particular the fact that there are no connection diagrams at all AND there's no useful info on what does what, when... You absolutely *can* mess with it enough to eventually figure out most of it, but the combo of bad UI and bad manual doesn't do what is otherwise a solidly performing piece of kit any favors... The Modbus interface? Haven't messed with it yet, but they made some unusual choices for function codes to read/write the cal/operating parameters - they're really not well supported out in the world. Would have been *much* better to stick with function codes 3/6.
